Product Designer

We connect vibration and ultrasonic sensors to smartphones and are able to detect malfunctions before they happen. Our analysis is executed in real-time and results are displayed on users' smartphones within seconds.

Augury is looking for a passionate, multidisciplinary, product designer to conduct the solution framing process of Augury’s products. You will be joining a smart and creative product design team.  

What you will be doing:

• Research and Solution Framing
• UX: Wireframing - Low-Fidelity Solution Mockups, feasibility check with Engineering
• UX-UI: High-Fidelity Solution Mockups
• USABILITY TESTING
• UI: Finalizing Design for Implementation.

What you need to join the team:

• High degree of UX/UI competence and skills
• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years’ experience in product design:
• Well experienced in UX/UI
• Wireframing knowledge
• Familiar with User Testing methods
• Mobile and Web / Media design skills
• Familiar with CSS and HTML
• Familiar with Android and IOS platforms
• Strong, confident, clean visual design sense.
• Following current design trends.
• Knowledge and proficiency of design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InVision, optional: Sketch + add ons)

Basics:

• Fulfill several requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork, presentation skills (Ability to Get the message through in English)
• Smart
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Empathy and humanity towards people who are using our product.
• Ability to take criticism well. Be open to changes. Iterate.
• Curiosity - go deep and research.
• Design geek (update on new trends, update in PdM industry)
